Mark the date - 2nd International Conference on Predictive APIs and Apps!

As you may already know, PAPIs will be coming to Sydney this year (and to other places as well, but more on that later). We’ll be collocated with KDD, the ACM conference on knowledge discovery and data mining which attracts 2000+ big data practitioners and researchers. While we haven’t confirmed the Sydney venue yet, we’ve decided on a date which we’re announcing today — so you can already put it in your calendar and start making plans:

PAPIs ’15, the 2nd International Conference on Predictive APIs and Apps, will take place on 6-7 August 2015.

It’s going to be on the Thursday and Friday that precede KDD, which means that you can come to PAPIs, visit Sydney and its surroundings in the week-end, and go to KDD after that. If you’re traveling to Australia from far away, you'll probably want to make the most of your trip and stay even longer (I’ll be taking a few days off after KDD and going North towards Brisbane and Queensland)!

We’ll announce a Call for Proposals for PAPIs ‘15 in a few days. Make sure you’ve signed up to get updates and you’re following us on Twitter to be notified when the call opens.

If you’d like to get involved in the event, please get in touch! We’ll be looking for sponsors, reviewers and volunteers to help us make the conference even better than last year's…
